I live in the country. There are no street lights here. The only lights you’ll see are the ones on houses or the headlights from cars going by on the road. There isn’t a lot of traffic either, enough, but … Continue reading
End of an Era
It was August of 2008 and my husband and I were contemplating when/where we might have a retirement home. So I planted a seed about Tennessee and it grew. We started vacationing pretty regularly in and around Gatlinburg TN. We … Continue reading

Orchids
I don’t know much about orchids. I know they are beautiful. I know I only used to see them in books and now I see them in homes. I know they are difficult to grow and keep – at least … Continue reading
Fireflies
There sure are a lot of lightning bugs this year! I don’t know why I’m noticing a lot of them this year? Didn’t we have a lot in years past? One friend said there are more because the farmer’s had … Continue reading
Gorgeous Night
I’m sitting on my patio, at 9pm, writing this, and it is just GORGEOUS out here. Temp is probably high 70’s with a bit of a breeze. Just enough to keep the mosquitoes at bay. Life is good 🙂
